To save contents of your page to a file, click on the Settings button, and select Search, Print & Export. A new window will open. Confirm your password, if prompted, and click Next. Your page will appear in plain form, with all folders open and contents of all items displayed. Now use File|Save As command of your browser menu to save your page to a file.
- You can save to a file (or print) any selection of items from your page. Simply create a new "helper" page, clear it (by dragging its main folder to the trash bin), then copy any selection of items from your page to the "helper" page (using the Envelope tool), and save the "helper" page as described above.
- To make last minute changes before saving the file, simply switch back to the window with the main view of your page, make changes, switch back to the window with the page in plain form, and use the browser's Refresh button to display the changes.
- If you plan to edit the file that you are saving and your page contains characters from an alphabet other than English, you may want to pay attention to the Encoding option offered by the Save As dialog of some browsers. If you use the default setting Unicode (UTF-8), you may not be able to edit the resulting file with simple text editors on some operating systems. Therefore, you may want to select encoding that is more natural for your system (e.g. Greek (Windows) for a page in Greek on Microsoft Windows).
